Intermittent power supply

Several areas in the city faced intermittent power supply on Saturday due to failure of a 100 MVA transformer at Hoody. The areas affected include HAL, Airport, HRBR, HBR, Kadugodi, ITI and NGEF. These areas might have to face intermittent power supply for the next 15 days as it is expected to take that much time for rectification of the problem, say KPTCL officials. The KPTCL has already commenced the repair works.

Free camp

The Gokula Ayush Arogyadhama, a unit of M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and Hospitals, has organised a free consultation and counselling camp on endocrinal disorders. The camp will be held from Sunday till the end of the month. For details, call 22183456, 23609999, 23608888 (extn. 3456).

Health check-up
