DRL to participate in USP verification programme

HYDERABAD: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has signed as the first participant of the United States Pharmacopoeia's (USP) pharmaceutical ingredient verification programme. As part of the programme, Dr. Reddy's would submit its ingredients for verification processes that include evaluation of manufacturer's quality systems through an audit, review of manufacturing and quality control documents, laboratory testing of ingredient samples from USP-selected lots and post-verification surveillance testing of the ingredients.
