Senior appointments

CHENNAI: The following senior appointments have been announced by the companies concerned: Novell has appointed Naresh Shah as Managing Director of its India Development Centre in Bangalore, concurrently with his current responsibilities as Vice President-Global Engineering Strategy; Somnath Patil has been appointed as Senior Executive Director-Group Finance, Dalmia Cement; Tata AIG General Insurance Co. has appointed Michael Carlin as Managing Director; Nipuna, the Satyam BPO, has named Harish SN as its Global Delivery Head; Ashok Namboodiri has been appointed by Henkel India as Country Manager for its Schwarzkopf Professional; Aircel has announced that its senior management team will be guided by Sandip Das.
