Their bodies with knife injuries were found in a pool of blood in the building in Tekkali. According to Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar Sinha, just an hour before the incident, they were making some payments to the workers, when there was a heated argument. The murder might be the result of a dispute over payments, Mr.Sinha said. Reddy and Choudary are natives of Hyderabad and were residing in a building which is located at a stone's throw away from the police station.

The Andhra Pradesh Affiliated College Teachers' Association on Wednesday expressed condolences to the family of G.V. Loganathan who was killed in the Virginia Tech University shootout. In a message, the association also condemned the attack by students on the faculty of the Kakatiya University's physics department. Expressing anguish at the prevailing state of affairs on the Kakatiya university campus, G. Sridhar Reddy, general secretary, and Mallikarjuna Rao and S. Rajeshwar Rao, secretaries, urged the Vice-Chancellor to ensure that normalcy was restored. - Special Correspondent
