4 women killed in accident

AMALAPURAM: Four women agricultural labourers died on the spot and four others injured when the tractor in which they were travelling over turned near Nedunuru village in Iyanavelli mandal on Saturday night.

According to Iyanavelli police, the deceased were identified as Lakshmi (40), Venkayamma (32), Seethalu (29) and Saroja (28). The injured were admitted in the Amalapuram Civil hospital. Bodies have been kept in mortuary. Police are investigating the case.
