Rashid reportedly names senior TD leaders in human trafficking racket

    HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party leaders on Friday went into a huddle as soon as reports about Rashid, alleged kingpin in the human trafficking racket, reportedly mentioning to the police, names of some of the senior party leaders.

    The meeting presided over by party president N. Chandrababu Naidu is stated to have decided to urge the Centre to hold an impartial probe into the racket. Mr. Naidu is expected to write a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

    Mr. Naidu is believed to have made it clear that nobody would be spared from deterrent action however senior he might be, if an impartial inquiry proved his involvement.
