Actor injured in accident

ALAPPUZHA : Malayalam film actor Salim Kumar sustained minor injuries in a car accident on the National Highway at Kayamkulam early this morning.

Mr. Kumar was on his way to Thiruvananthapuram. The car hit a lorry and a two-wheeler before skidding to a halt. While Mr. Kumar and his driver suffered only minor injuries, the two-wheeler rider broke his teeth and sustained a few other minor injuries. He was admiited to Alappuzha Medical College, the police said.
