JAIPUR: An urban drinking water supply scheme worth Rs. 24.31 lakh was dedicated to the people in Partapur town of Banswara district in Rajasthan over the weekend. The Minister of State for Medical and Health, Bhawani Joshi, said the scheme would safeguard citizens' health by providing clean drinking water. Mr. Joshi called upon the people to maintain cleanliness in the town and get full benefits of various schemes launched for their welfare. He said special steps were being taken to improve infrastructure and public services in the district. The Minister also inspected the Kagdi lake beautification project and the work for laying of a new pipeline for water supply in Banswara.
