A vote for growth

It is amazing that French voters turned out in unprecedented numbers (registering a turnout of 84 per cent) to elect their new President. The election of Nicolas Sarkozy marks the dawn of a new era in France. The results show that the people are fully aware of their political needs and their responsibility towards the economic growth of their country. Their vote is a vote for economic reforms.
