Ayurvedic institute not recognised, says board

Bangalore: The Karnataka Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioners' Board has said that the Southern Institute of Alternative Medicine is not recognised by either Government of Karnataka, Government of India or the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The institute advertised in several dailies inviting applications from candidates for BASM and MD (AM) courses. The board has urged the public not to apply to the courses.
