Tenure extended

NEW DELHI : The Lok Sabha on Monday adopted a motion seeking to extend the tenure of the Joint Parliamentary Committee formed to suggest a comprehensive definition of ``Office of Profit.'' The committee, headed by Iqbal Ahmed Saradgi, has been given time till the first day of the last week of the monsoon session. It was set up in August last in pursuance of a resolution adopted by both Houses of Parliament.
