`Well-planned attack to destroy India'

BANGALORE: Describing the attack on Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad as well planned to destroy India, BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu said his party condemns it.

"The mindless act by terrorists in attacking people offering `namaz' is sacrilegious," he told presspersons on the sidelines of the Rank Holders' Felicitation and Distinction Award Ceremony 2006-2007 of the People's Educational Society Institute of Technology (PESIT , where he was the chief guest.

Earlier, he congratulated rank holders and award winners.

In his presidential address, M.R. Doreswamy, founder-chairman of PES Institutions, said that the PESIT was on its way to becoming a deemed university.
