Dibrugarh: Normal life was paralysed in Assam's Dibrugarh district on Wednesday following a 12-hour bandh called by several organisations demanding the arrest of junior doctors of the Assam Medical College who assaulted two relatives of a patient on Sunday. Official sources said here that all shops, business establishments and commercial institutions remained closed. Educational institutions also remained closed barring for a brief period when the HSLC results were announced at 11 a.m. The people staged a road blockade demanding the arrest of the doctors. They warned that they would call a bandh if their demand was not met. PTI
