Offering a unique glimpse into the life of legendary rock stars will be The History Channel's brand new series that will be aired from May 28 to June 7. The eight-part series, "History Rocks", will feature concerts, rare documentaries and interviews with rock stars. Some of the greatest musical rock bands and groups like Queen, Deep Purple, The Doors, The Who, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Santana will feature in this series that fuses music and history together. "Queen-Live in Budapest" will showcase Queen's largest-ever stadium performance "Live In Budapest" and show montages to highlight the band's legendary visit. It will be aired on May 28. The "Who -- Live at the Isle of Wight Festival" will be shown on May 29. It will show the band giving one of its most memorable performances featuring hits like "Water", "Magic bus" and "Pinball Wizard". A concert of songs that emphasises on peace and understanding can be seen in "Santana -- Live At Montreux 2004" on May 30. "Deep Purple -- Live at Montreux" on May 31 focuses on the band that is known as one of the all-time great British rock bands. "The Doors: Soundstage Performances" will be aired on June 4. It shows a compilation of three different Doors concerts at three distinct stages in their career. Showcasing Rolling Stones contemporaries, fans and critics is "Rolling Stones -- Truth & Lies" on June 5. The rock and roll band has inspired music connoisseurs across the globe. "Beatles -- From Liverpool to San Francisco" to be aired on June 6 will focus on the adulation and hysteria at different places across the world during The Beatles concerts. -- Madhur Tankha
