THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: St. Thomas Central School, Thiruvananthapuram, has recorded 100 per cent pass in the class XII CBSE examinations held in March 2007, with 185 of the 278 students who appeared for the examinations securing distinction. In the science stream, Nabeel Salam secured the first rank scoring 96.4 per cent while Sherin Ann Varughese came second scoring 95.4 per cent. Five students scored full marks for mathematics. In the commerce stream, Vishnu Prasad came first scoring 95 per cent while Jemy Elezabeth Abraham secured the second rank scoring 90.6 per cent. In the humanities stream, Gayathri Sasidharan was the topper with 90.4 per cent while Shilpa Sudhakar bagged the second rank scoring 85.8 per cent. At Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode, 49 of the 137 students who appeared for the examinations got distinction. The school posted a pass percentage of 99.3. Remya Mohan, Akshay V. Nair and Roshni Soman were the toppers in the science, humanities and commerce streams respectively.
