Power cut in many areas today

Bangalore: There will be no power supply on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to maintenance work on 66 kV Hoody-HAL line 3 and 4 by KPTCL authorities. The affected areas include Ramamurthynagar, ITI Colony, Muniyappa Layout, Shanthi Layout, Akshayanagar, Kalkere Road, Sir M.V. Road, Muneshwaranagar, Anandapura, Kowdenakhalli, K.R. Puram, Devasandra, O.M. Road up to Hoskote, A. Narayanapura, Sadanandanagar, Kasturinagar, Ring Road, Whitefield Road up to IOC, Maheshwarinagar, B. Narayanapura, Mahadevapura, Pai Layout, Rahathbagh, Kaggadasapura, Benniganahalli, C.V. Raman Nagar, Vijinapura, parts of Udaya Nagar, DRDO Quarters, Indiranagar, Bagamane Tech Park, Krishnappa Garden, Chetan Nagar, Texas Instruments and surrounding areas.

There will be unscheduled intermittent load shedding on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in parts of the city as KPTCL authorities will take up works at 220 KVA NRS station. The affected areas include: `A' station — K.G. Road, Nagarthpet, Sheshadri Road, SC Road, Tank Bund Road, A.R. Circle, Gandhinagar, Binny Mills, K.G. Circle, Railway Station, Cottonpet, Akkipet, parts of Chikpet, Balepet, Tulsithota, Old Tharagpet, Avenue Road, Kilari Road, Mamulpet.
