REMOTE EDUCATION through the internet to students abroad. This could well be the next new multi-billion dollar industry. Students based in the U.S. could simply log onto the worldwide web and receive tutoring services from qualified teachers based here in India. The name of the new game is e-tutoring and it is all set to make a mark here. Online tutoring permits give a near live experience with instantaneous student-teacher interactions both visually and verbally. The emerging field has now offered a new opportunity to even Basic Science students to earn more and be part of the new global economy. With a university degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D.,), a potential tutor can be placed by a tutoring firm at the appropriate level of teaching. This, apparently, will be based on the aspirant's academic background and interests. Currently, the demand is for tutors in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for middle school, high school and university-level students based abroad. Flexible working hours suited to foreign markets (U.S. timings typically run from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and tutors can schedule shifts based on personal needs and student flexibility) offer work opportunities to many different types of individuals interested in teaching careers. Organisations have now come up right here to train aspiring global tutors. For starters, email rajiv@networkersindia.com or call 9844063761.
