Complete parade

A total of 67 officers, including three women, graduated into the mainstream of Indian Air Force from the 68th Aeronautical Engineering (AE) course held at the Air Force Technical College, here on Friday.

Air Marshal Jayant Satchidanand Apte, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, IAF, Nagpur, was the chief guest and reviewing officer for the passing-out parade.

New ATM

The State Bank of Mysore added one more ATM to its network in Shankarapuram on Friday. V.R. Gowrishankar, Administrator and the Chief Executive Officer of Sringeri Sharada Peetham inaugurated the ATM on Shankar Math Road in the presence of G. Prakash, Deputy General Manager and A. Jayesh, Assistant General Manager of the Bank.

Adalat

The Department of Legal Metrology has organised a `Grahakara Adalat' on Saturday at the office of the Deputy Controller of Legal Metrology, 763, 5th Block, Rajajinagar.

The adalat would commence at 4.30 p.m., the release added.

Monkey rescued

People For Animals, a non-governmental organisation, rescued a monkey from a restaurant on Mysore Road.

According to a press note, a person having lunch at "Kadu Mane" called the PFA on May 31 stating that a sick monkey was being kept in a gunny bag.

Staff from PFA and the Forest Department rescued the monkey.
