Charge sheet against Renukacharya

BANGALORE: The Chandra Layout police on Friday filed a charge sheet against Bharatiya Janata Party MLA for Honalli M.P. Renukacharya on a complaint given by B.V. Jayalakshmi. The police have found evidence against Mr. Renukacharya threatening Ms. Jayalakshmi that he would paste her photographs near her house and a nursing school where she is employed. Meanwhile, the police have dropped the charges of extortion, outraging the modesty of a woman and breach of peace that were booked against Mr. Renukacharya on the basis of Ms. Jayalakshmi's complaint to the Chandra Layout police on April 20.
