Buckling under its own compromises

Drawing inspiration from many sources, Sunil Kumar Desai in "Kshana Kshana" attempts to offer a new experience to Kannada audiences.

Struggle

However, the film buckles under its own technical and artistic compromises. Although it is free from vulgarity and gratuitous violence, it struggles to keep pace with the demands of the plot.

Dull screenplay

A dull screenplay, puerile dialogues, farcical situations, a stale narrative and shabby editing disappoint the discerning viewer.

The story revolves around the kidnap of a celebrity film actor Maya (Kiran Rathod) and the escapades of her manager Phalguni (Prema), her bodyguard (Auditya), his rival Rana (Ashutosh Rana), and the Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishnu (Vishnuvardhan).
