MRPS cycle rally flagged off

ANANTAPUR: Founder of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) M. Krishna Madiga flagged off a bicycle yatra by activists of Dandora to Hyderabad here on Monday. Some 100 MRPS activists would travel to Hyderabad by covering 13 districts and reach the destination on June 21. The MRPS has already planned `Madigala Jaitra Yatra Maha Sabha' in Hyderabad on June 21. Accompanied by the MRPS activists, Mr. Krishna Madiga garlanded the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar before flagging off the cycle yatra.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the State was purposefully delaying the categorisation of Scheduled Castes by provoking a section of the SCs, who were against the grouping.
