Bakkiaraj to meet Tharani Kumar in final

Chennai's Bakkiaraj and Tharani Kumar entered the boys' under-21 final of the State youth carrom championship for the Sri Kaliswari Fire Works - Sivakami Ammal Trophy, defeating John Issac of Madurai 25-4, 25-0 and Devakumar of Chennai 25-15, 25-16 respectively at the Muslim Kalyana Mandapam here on Friday.

The trials for the selection of the Sivagangai District under-15 and under-19 cricket teams will be held at the ACCET ground, Karaikudi at 9 a.m. on June 17.
