Pratibha in for tough job: husband

NEW DELHI: Elated over Pratibha Patil's selection as the United Progressive Alliance (UPA)-Left candidate for President's post, her husband, Devisingh Ramsingh Shekhawat, on Friday said the "simple and traditional" lady was in for a "tough job."

"My joy knows no bounds. I am proud of her. She has been selected for the tough job," Mr. Shekhawat, a social worker and an educationist in Amaravati district of Maharashtra, told CNN-IBN. — PTI
