CBDT extends date for FBT payment

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Thursday said the first instalment of the Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT), payable by June 15 in respect of transfer or allotment of specified security or sweat equity shares to its employees, could now be paid till September, 15.
