BANGALORE: The State committee of the Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha has called for protest meetings at all district headquarters on June 25 to consolidate public opinion against the proposed Agriculture Policy 2006. Sangha president Maruti Manpade told presspersons here on Friday that the Thursday’s dialogue of Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy with farmers was mere eyewash. The sangha was not invited to the dialogue as the Government had thought that it would raise several issues pertaining to farmers.
