: Former national coach, C.R. Kumar has been appointed as chief coach for the Tamil Nadu team that will take part in the St. Joseph's junior National hockey championship starting here on Monday. Kumar, who had initially coached the national junior team that went on to win the World Cup in Hobart in 2002, was also the assistant coach to V. Baskaran in the senior World Cup at Utrecht in 1998. Kumar had a stint in Malaysia, coaching the senior women's team. Tamil Nadu meets Madhya Bharat in the opening match on Monday. The squad: Goalkeepers: V. Barani Raja (Chennai), M.
