Prafulchand triumphs
Mysore: M.C. Prafulchand returned a card of eight-over 78 to clinch the Strokeplay Gross (0-18) title in the Andolana Cup open golf tournament, conducted by the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club, here on Sunday.
The results:
Strokeplay Gross (0-18): 1. M.C. Prafulchand (78 gross); 2. H.S. Gopinath (79 gross-better back nine over S. Venkatesh).
Strokeplay Nett (0-18): 1. S. Venkatesh (68 net); 2. A.S. Somesh (70 net-better back six over Jacob Thomas).
Stableford Nett (0-18): 1. M.C.S. Manohar (38 points); 2. Jacob Thomas (37).
Stableford Nett (0-24): 1. Maj. Gen. C.K. Karumbiah (35); 2. Dr. G.K. Sundarraj (35).
