NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University Vice-Chancellor V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai was conferred the fifth Prof. M. V. Pylee Award for “Distinguished Academician of India-2006” in Cochin over the weekend.

According to an IGNOU release here, the award was presented by Sree Shankracharya University of Sanskrit Vice-Chancellor K. S. Radhakrishnan.
