BANGALORE: The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has accorded affiliation to 20 nursing colleges in the State, but disallowed five others from making admissions for the academic year 2007-08. . The university has put a condition that the colleges without INC clearance will have to make an application to the council within a week. The INC will then consider the pleas within 10 weeks from the date of the High Court order. The 20 colleges affiliated by the health varsity are Vidyaratna College of Nursing, Udupi; Vidya College of Nursing, Udupi; Vijay Kumar College of Nursing, Gulbarga; Swami Vivekananda College of Nursing, Bangalore; Mahatma Gandhi Professional College of Nursing, Bangalore; Universal College of Nursing, Bangalore; Indian College of Nursing, Bangalore; Bhuvan College of Nursing, Bangalore; Fr. Mathews College of Nursing, Bangalore; Bangalore College of Nursing, Bangalore; S.V.N. College of Nursing, Bangalore; Shekhar College of Nursing, Bangalore; Kala-Niketan College of Nursing, Bangalore; R.S. College of Management and Sciences, Bangalore; Green City College of Nursing, Bangalore; Srinidhi College of Nursing, Bangalore; Chaitanya College of Nursing, Bangalore; Krishna College of Nursing, Mysore; Navodaya College of Nursing, Mandya and Manasa College of Nursing, Malur.
