13 p.c. final from Syndicate Bank

MANIPAL: The board of Syndicate Bank has declared a final dividend of 13 per cent for 2006-07. The bank had already paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent. Addressing press persons here on Friday, C. P. Swarnkar, Chairman and Managing Director, said the bank proposed to go in for a second follow-on public issue of equity shares at a suitable premium to meet additional capital requirement and Basel II norms. This would take place in the second half of the year, he said.
