Trains cancelled

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway fully and partially cancelled several trains on Saturday as rains continued to play havoc with operations.

A press release said that the scheduled departure of three trains on Saturday was cancelled.

They include no. 7225/26 Vijayawada – Hubli – Vijayawada Amaravati Expresses and no. 523 Secunderabad – Guntur Passenger.

The scheduled run of nine passengers trains No. 419 Guntur – Macherla passenger that left Guntur at 5.50 p.m. on Friday was cancelled on Nadikudi – Macherla section and sent back, no. 418A Nadikudi – Bhimavaram passenger was cancelled on Saturday.

No. 418 Macherla – Bhimavaram passenger scheduled to leave at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday was cancelled between Macherla and Nadikudi. No. 524 Guntur – Kacheguda passenger was cancelled between Giddalur and Dhone, which was to run between Dhone and Kacheguda on Saturday.

No. 303 Guntur – Hubli passenger was cancelled between Giddalur and Dhone and was run between Dhone and Hubli on Saturday.
