VIJAYAWADA: In a bid to ward off the misconception that the fire services department staff have work only during fire mishaps, the district fire services department, on Saturday, displayed the latest equipment, which it procured, to rescue the people in distress, at Swaraj Maidan. The firemen demonstrated the use of equipment like hydraulic spreaders.
