Nahar Industrial recommends 10 p.c. dividend

CHENNAI: Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd. (NIEL), a leading integrated textiles company, has recommended a 10 per cent dividend for 2006-2007. On a standalone basis, the company has reported net sales of Rs. 900.63 crore in the 12 months ended March 31, 2007 against Rs. 694.14 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year. The profit before tax was higher at Rs. 92.54 crore against Rs. 76.72 crore.
