Runaway win for SAI
HYDERABAD: Sports Authority of India (STC, Secunderabad) scored a convincing 6-0 win over APSRTC in the A-1 division hockey league championship at Begumpet Police Stadium here on Wednesday.
The winner led 4-0 at the break. A brace by Vijay Kumar and goals by Nagaraj, Tilak, Arvind and Sampath Kumar made up the tally for the winner.
Artillery ‘B’ wins
Artillery Boys Company ‘B’ scored a comfortable 52-32 win over Artillery Boys Company ‘A’ in the Ghousuddin memorial basketball tournament organised by City College Old Boys Basketball Club at City College here.
In another match, Hyderabad YMCA ‘B’ scored an exciting 52-51 win over Rahimpura Playground.
