Special train services to be extended

Thrissur: Railway plan to extend the summer-special train services from Ernakulam to Bangalore (train number 0641 and 0638) by three months, Southern Railway General Manager Thomas Varghese told representatives of the Thrissur Passengers’ Association on Sunday. A press release from the Association quoted Mr. Varghese as saying that the Railways would expedite construction of the second entrance to the Thrissur railway station. — Staff Reporter
