Managements of bars and restaurants located in the purview of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) will have to renew the no-objection certificate (NOC) given by the civic body on or before July 8. Chief medical officer of the VMC K. Sri Karuna Murhty, in a statement here on Wednesday, said that those who failed to renew their license were liable for punishment.
