Maoist held in agency

VISAHAPATNAM: A member of banned CPI (Maoist)’s armed militia was taken into custody by a police party during a cordon and search operation at Pedavalasa village in G.K. Veedhi mandal in the Visakhapatnam agency area on Wednesday. The arrested was identified as Pongi Subba Rao.

A fire arm, SBBL, was seized from him, according to the Additional SP Narsipatnam, Kranthi Rana.
