Order on power tariff revision today

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission will give its order regarding the transmission tariff proposal filed by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) on Friday. The KPTCL had submitted the tariff proposal along with the electricity supply companies last month. The KPTCL had submitted its Expected Revenue from Charges to the KERC last November/December.. The KERC had then held public hearings regarding the ERC and asked the KPTCL and ESCOMs to file their tariff proposal, according to official sources.— Staff Reporter
