Lease land to be taken over

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government has decided to take over lease land in the possession of clubs and organisations if they do not clear the lease rent arrears before August 31, Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran told the Assembly on Thursday. Replying to submissions by P.C. George and Mankode Radhakrishnan, the Revenue Minister said the lease rent arrears totalled Rs.57.46 crore.
