Rythu bazar authorities on Friday kicked off the sale of vegetables through mobile outlets. The facility was launched in the city starting with the rythu bazar at Kedareswarapeta, while the rythu bazars situated at Swaraj Maidan and Patamata would follow suit very soon, according to Vijayawada Agriculture Market Committee secretary P. Ramakrishna Murthy. The vehicle launched on Friday would mainly cater to the requirements of poor people living in Rajarajeswaripeta, Vambay Colony, Madhura Nagar, Ajit Singh Nagar and surrounding localities.
