Health magazine launched

CHENNAI: An English magazine, ‘’Health Control”, was launched at a function organised here recently to commemorate Doctor’s Day. Speaking after receiving the first copy of the magazine, orthopaedist Mayil Vahanan Natarajan told the gathering, comprising specialists from various fields of medicine, that people now went ‘doctor-shopping’ because they had lost confidence in doctors. Today patients looked at doctors with mistrust, he said, adding that earlier they never questioned doctors. With a proliferation of information, patients were well informed.
