VIZIANAGARAM: TDP BC cell president Dwarapureddi Jagadish on Saturday said that the BCs would not keep silent if their quota was cut to accommodate Muslims. At a press conference, Mr. Jagadish said the party was not against reservations to Muslims and recalled that the TDP favoured 3 per cent reservation for Muslims in its manifesto. But the Congress announced 5 per cent reservation with an eye on elections. Though the Supreme Court had asked the Centre and the State Government to survey BC population for the purpose of reservations to OBCs, it had not been done so far, he said.
