State not sincere about GO 610: Yanamala

Correspondent

Kakinada: The chairman of the public accounts committee and former Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has blamed the State Government for its delaying tactics on implementation of the 610 GO and termed the issuing of number of GOs and contradictory statements by ruling party leaders as nothing but confusing the whole affair.

At a press conference here on Saturday, he questioned the propriety in issuing number of GOs and cancelling them the next moment without the knowledge of either the house committee or the committee headed by the chief secretary.

‘It shows that the government and the ruling party were not sincere on the implementation of the GO 610 but only wanted to delay the matter.

The other political parties except the Telugu Desam are also contributing their might for dodging the matter owing to political considerations’ he remarked. Pointing out that NTR was instrumental in issuing the 610 GO with a view to set right the anomalies in implementation of the Presidential orders regarding the zonal system, Yanamala made it clear that their party was still committed to its stance that the irregularities should be set right ensuring no fresh violations of the orders.
