Village adoption plan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The regional office of NABARD is launching a village adoption and development plan in 33 grama panchayats in connection with its silver jubilee celebrations. A release issued by the bank here on Tuesday said the plan would cover at least one grama panchayat in each district. The main objective of the plan is to focus on financial inclusion and develop the villages in an integrated manner. Development of infrastructure facilities, education and health has been envisaged in the plan. — Special Correspondent
