Union Minister visits BEML complexes

BANGALORE: Union Minister of State for Defence Production Rao Inderjit Singh on Tuesday visited Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML) complexes at Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields and Mysore.

According to a press release, he inspected production facilities and witnessed equipment demonstrations of BEML products. He also inaugurated the new Transmission Assembly shop at the company’s H&P Plant at the KGF complex. BEML will manufacture transmissions for the automobile and earthmover industry at this shop. BEML Chairman and Managing Director V.R.S. Natarajan and directors of the company accompanied the Minister. — Staff Reporter
