Two teenagers drown

NEW DELHI: Two teenagers were drowned in a canal at Nangloi here on Monday. According to the police, 12-year-old Gaurav returned home from school during lunch break and asked his mother for a 100-rupee note.

He then left home along with his 14-year-old friend Guddu. When the two did not return till late in the night, their parents lodged a missing complaint with the police.

On Tuesday morning, their bodies were found in a canal flowing through Nilothi village in Nangloi. Both were residents of Uttam Nagar.
