TIRUPATI. For those interested in trekking and adventure sports, here is some good news. A 25-member team of trekkers, with the approval of the Forest Department, will be setting-out on a two-day expedition to ‘Gunjana jalapatham’, said to be the tallest peak on the Tirumala (Seshachalam) hill ranges. The team will start its trek on July 14 at 8 a.m. from Kukkaladoddi village on the Tirupati-Kadapa highway and do a night halt at ‘Kangamadugu’-- the centre-point for Tirumala forests after covering 20 km.
