DSCs reconstituted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government, invoking the powers vested with it in the Kerala Sports Act 2000, has reconstituted the District Sports Councils in all the 14 districts of the State.

According to the Gazette notified in this regards, the District Collector will be the president of the DSC in the district concerned.

An MLA each and the Deputy Director (Education) in the district concerned are among the nominees named in the various districts.

The term of office for all the nominated members of the various DSCs will be for two years.
