One killed in accident

VIZIANAGARAM: S. Appalaswamy, 63, of Appayyapeta was killed and eight others, including deputy tahsildar Ch. Sarma, were injured when the autorickshaw in which they were going towards Parvathipuram was hit by a sand-laden truck at Appayyapeta village on NH-43 under Sitanagagaram police station limits on Thursday. The injured were admitted to Parvathipuram area hospital. – Correspondent
