Students stage protests

ADILABAD: Student organisations owing allegiance to left and right wing parties on Friday staged protests separately in pursuance of their demands.

The left wing student organisations PDSU, SFI and AISF made students of many private schools boycott classes, protesting the against the closure of some schools in the Government sector. Activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad staged a sit-in at the district Collectorate demanding supply of text books to schools.
